Before eventually forcing some cash onto her. The rest of her pictures were hung here and there upon the walls of the Lodge. Jane’s paintings were one of life’s pleasures to Ken, and he always looked forward to watching her work. He also looked forward to seeing Mike again. Ken had only seen him the once during his time in hospital, but at the time had been so spaced out on painkillers that he could only remember Mike giving him some abuse about being scrawny, or something?
